Yes - Battlebridge is open all year round.

We have 43 hard standing pitches for caravans and motorhomes, spread across the site: - Pitches 1-5 - In the Garden, these are for motorhomes only - 6-22 - Jolley Lane - 23-33 - The Coop, beside the shower block (6 amp hook-up) - 34-41 - The Paddocks, beside the glamping field - 42 and 43 - Finger Row, out on the peninsula by the water Tents go in the Garden, the grass between the pub and the river.

Caravan and motorhome pitches have a gravel base and are big enough for any touring caravan or motorhome. Tent pitches are on grass, in two sizes - 2-person and 4-person.

Yes, electric hook-up is available on caravan and motorhome pitches for €5 a night. It's 10 amp across the site, except in The Coop, where it's 6 amp. Grass tent pitches don't have hook-up.

- Pitches: check-in from 1pm, and please vacate your pitch by 12 noon on the day you leave. - Pods & cabins: check-in from 3pm, check-out by 11am.

Drive in through the site entrance off the L1016 into the car park, and check in is in the pub.

A shower and toilet block, wash-up facilities, a children's playground, a slipway, moorings, the sauna deck and, of course, the pub. There's free Wi-Fi in the bar.

There's no laundry on site, but there's one at the petrol station in Leitrim Village, a 5-minute walk away.

Yes, we're dog friendly! Dogs are welcome in the pub and campsite as long as they're kept on a lead and you clean up after them. Dogs aren't allowed in the glamping. We can't accept these breeds, or crosses of them: bull terrier, bull mastiff, Dobermann, German shepherd (Alsatian), Rhodesian ridgeback, Rottweiler, Akita, Tosa and ban dog.

There's no shop on site, but Leitrim Village is a 10-minute walk and Carrick-on-Shannon is a 10-minute drive. We do sell gas on site - just ask at the bar.

- Awnings: €5 per night. You need to book them when you book your pitch. - Gazebos: allowed with our approval, €5 per night. - Large tents: €10 extra per night. - Extra vehicle: one vehicle per pitch. Each extra vehicle is €5 per night and may need to park outside the gates. A tent pitched beside a caravan or motorhome isn't an awning. It needs its own booking.

No campfires or open fires, please. Barbecues (including disposables), gas stoves and portable heaters are all fine, as long as they're raised up so they don't burn the grass and never left unattended. Let barbecues cool fully before disposing of them.

Yes. Quiet time is 11pm to 7am. Please keep music, speakers and TVs at a reasonable volume at all times.

Children are very welcome, but the site has open water, a harbour, a quay and moorings, so please keep a close eye on them at all times. Children must go to the shower block with an adult. Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the pub.

You can book pitches, pods and cabins online on our website. A 50% deposit is taken when you book, and the balance is paid when you arrive. If your booking comes to less than €50, you pay the full amount when you book.

- High season (1 April - 31 October): €30 per night - Low season (1 November - 31 March): €27 per night Prices include 2 adults. Extras are €5 per night each for electric hook-up, an awning, or each additional person.

- 4-person grass pitch: €30 per night - 2-person grass pitch: €20 per night Prices include 2 people. Tent pitches don't have electric hook-up.

Pods (Apple, Bluebell, Clover, Daisy): - High season (1 April - 31 October): €250 for 2 nights, plus €125 for each extra night - Low season (1 November - 31 March): €220 for 2 nights, plus €110 for each extra night Cabins (Elderberry, Foxglove): - High season (1 April - 31 October): €300 for 2 nights, plus €150 for each extra night - The cabins are closed in low season. Minimum stay is 2 nights, maximum 1 week.

- Pitches: up to 2 weeks. On bank holiday weekends the minimum stay is 3 nights. - Pods & cabins: minimum 2 nights, maximum 1 week.

- Your deposit is non-refundable. We may move it to another date, at our discretion. - Cancel at least 7 days before arrival and we'll refund any balance you've paid. With less than 7 days' notice, the balance isn't refunded. - No refunds for arriving late or leaving early. - Bad weather, breakdowns and change of plans aren't grounds for a refund. If a severe weather warning forces us to close, or in cases like a bereavement, we may move your booking to another date in the same season. Full details are in our booking terms and conditions.

We have four pods - Apple, Bluebell, Clover and Daisy - in a row in the glamping field, and two stilted cabins with their own decks, Elderberry and Foxglove.

The cabins, Elderberry and Foxglove, sleep up to 6. The pods sleep up to 4. We can't provide travel cots or extra beds.

Provided: bed linen, electricity, a kettle, plates and delph. Heating: the pods are heated, and the cabins, Elderberry and Foxglove, have wood-burning stoves. Bring: towels, and anything you need for cooking and keeping food cool. There's no fridge or cooking facilities in the pods or cabins.

Sorry, dogs aren't allowed in the pods or cabins or on their decks. Dogs are welcome on the touring pitches.

The four pods are open all year round. The cabins, Elderberry and Foxglove, are open in high season only, from 1 April to 31 October.

Yes, outside or on your deck. Gas stoves, camping stoves, barbecues (including disposables) and portable heaters are all fine, as long as they don't burn the grass or damage the decking, and are never left unattended. Please don't use them inside the pod or cabin. The cabins' wood-burning stoves are for heat only.

No smoking, vaping, candles or naked flames inside the pods or cabins (apart from the cabins' own wood-burning stoves).

Drop them in the postbox at the glamping site when you leave. A charge applies for lost keys.

Out at the far end of the riverside strip is our wood-fired sauna, two cold plunge baths and a cold shower - with the River Shannon right there if you fancy a proper dip.

No, we don't have a hot tub. The sauna and cold plunges are the treat here.

There's river access by the sauna deck for swimming. Swim at your own risk and never alone. Watch out for boat traffic, and be aware the Shannon is cold year-round.

Yes - our harbour has a quay and finger moorings, just off the Shannon beside Battlebridge lock. Mooring is €10 per night, payable in the pub, and power and water are available at the moorings.

Yes, there's a slipway for launching boats, kayaks and paddleboards, and it's free to use.

No licence is needed for coarse fishing on the Shannon, and the river runs right past the site. Please be careful around the moorings and pick up all line and hooks.

Not at all - everyone's welcome. Walkers and cyclists on the Blueway, boaters and locals all drop in.

Not yet, but we're hoping to start serving food soon. Watch our social media for news. In the meantime there are places to eat in Leitrim Village, a 10-minute walk away, and in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Yes - we're right on the Shannon Blueway. Walk or cycle about 7km along the river to the floating boardwalk on Acres Lake in Drumshanbo.
